Here is another recommendation… Halloween 2008 in Richmond, VA. This was was one of the most fun shows i have ever played – each member of the band dressed up as their favorite 80’s movie character. I was dressed as Maverick, from Top Gun, and took the highway all the way to the danger zone… Cris was BeetleJuice, Dave was a ghostbuster, Patrick was Willy Wonka, Mark was Doc Brown (back to the future), and Mike was Rocky Balboa. We did a song from each off the movies that these characters appeared in. The highlights, for me, were opening the show with superfunk, going right into Huey Lewis’ “Back in Time”. Also, Ghostbusters 1 into Ghostbusters 2 , Bobby Brown version, will be sure to make you smile… enojoy!”

From the beautiful Capital Theater in York, PA. This is one of the most historic theatres we’ve played , an amazing venue that had a great effect on our set, this night. You can hear the reverberation of an old-time theatre in the recording, it gives the show a unique sound that we really liked , when listening back to it/ this There’s a very inspired Jomo into chains, which we don’t do too often. ‘Lasting Hymn’ , at the end of the night , brought me to tears. Listening to that song on this recording always takes me right back into the most vivid memories of this stand-out show. Hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed playing it.

Here’s a blast from the past! This show from the Recher Theatre features the old line up, with Ryan Porter on bass, Paul Whineburg on drums, and Adam Eorfida on sax. This night was the first performance of Angelina – you can really hear how much the song has changed over the years , when listening back to this debut of the tune. Also my mandolin tone is full on mandorgan… J We did some fun covers of the talking heads (‘Crosseyed’) and rock n roll by the Velvet Underground. Enjoy! – Kenny Liner

Kenny’s notes: This is our set from Summer Camp 2009. It was a hot day and a hot show – a bunch of our midwest fans came down to hit up our set in the blazing sun. ‘Brother Don’t really kicks, Cris is just rippin’ it up at the end of the tune. We also the first time we played ‘Spill Over’ for the first time at a festival and we were stoked on the response from the crowd. We had other festivals we were playing that same weekend, so we flew in the night before, and flew out right after the show. All we left behind was this hot set. Enjoy! – Kenny
